The easiest way to quote your home or condo insurance with one of our insurance providers is to bring in your current home insurance policy and we can compare the cost of the same coverage with one of our providers.

In order to accurately provide a quote for home or condo insurance, we’ll need to know the following information:

1. The year the building was constructed.
2. The square footage of your home.
3. Is there a rental suite in the home?
4. Type of plumbing and electrical wiring.
5. Age and type of roof.
6. Age of hot water tank.
7. Do you have a septic tank?
8. Do you have a sump pump?
9. The number of bathrooms and kitchens in the home.
10. Your claims history.
11. Are there any mortgages on the property?
12. Do you have an alarm system on the premises?
13. Is there any business use on the premises?

Condo insurance quotes require less information to prepare a quote. We’ll need to know the following information about your condo:

1. What is the replacement value of your contents?
2. What is the age of the unit?
3. How many floors are in your building?
4. How many units are attached to one another?
5. What is the construction type (frame or concrete etc.)
6. What is the age of the hot water tank?
7. What type of heat do you have?
8. Is there any business use on the premises?

Please note: Aviva online payments are for the majority of our customers who receive a direct bill in the mail from Aviva. If you are billed by Peter Pook Insurance then please call us. Your policy will state "direct bill" to pay Aviva directly, or "agency bill" to pay it to our agency. If you aren't sure which bill type you have, then please call one of our offices.
